Thank you for your interest in the “Computers for Pupils” scheme. We have conducted some research and found that you may be able to benefit from another scheme which appears to be more favourable for you. We have outlined some of the details of this scheme and added some links for you to gather more information. We will assume that you will wish to take advantage of this scheme rather than the “Computers for Pupils”, and will therefore take you off the distribution list. If you do not wish us to remove you from the school administered scheme, you need to let me know in writing, by Wednesday 10th February. Please check if you are eligible online as this is a time limited offer. You cannot participate in both schemes.
The government has made a grant available for low income families with children living in England; it's targeted at those without access to the internet.
Depending on your need you can get money to spend on one year’s web access. However, you cannot go anywhere, it is only retailers that operate the scheme, though these include mainstream providers such as Comet, Phones4u and Misco.

You can now buy Home Access packages from approved suppliers in local stores, online and over the phone.
Just look out for the logo – any company offering Home Access packages should display the Approved Supplier logo.
